We have envisioned a warm and nurturing environment that resembles the comforting aspects of a home. Our program is designed to serve a maximum number of 25-30 children at one time, although teachers and young children are divided into much smaller groups.

The infant-toddler program (6 mo. - 23 mo) will have a capacity to serve no more than 8 children in our child care program at once, with a maximum adult ratio of one infant-care teacher to every three young children.

Infant Program (5 months to 23 months old)

Adult to child ratio ranges from 1:3

- The age requirements for infants in our program range from 5 months old to 23 months old

- Children must be at least 5 months old by the time he or she remains under the care and supervision of our staff/program

-  To experience the maximum benefit of our primary and continuity of care program we will give priority to families who intend on having their child attend the infant program up to the age of when that child will then need to transition into a preschool program (by the age of 3 and a half to 4 years old)

- All families must transition their young child into our program, where the infant's legal guardian remains with the child in our program for a certain period of time in order to lessen the impact of stress on that particular child due to the child's normal progression through separation and/or stranger anxiety.

- In trying to maintain a balanced social setting amongst the infant program as well as the early preschool program) please note that we take into consideration how we can best make each program gender neutral, and that this may impact each family's application.

- Families seeking full-time care are given priority; however, we can better accommodate part-time families if they partner with another family who is additionally seeking part-time care-where together families can accommodate what our program would consider a full-time schedule.

We offer a infant quiet space, with a low sink, for their early introduction to self-help skills. Early literacy is embedded into all areas of the setting, recognizing that one-to-one, and group reading times are essential, fun, and assist young children with supporting of our their developmental domains.

We will have on-going and easy access to our outdoor environmental education program, developmentally appropriate and safe for young children to play, learn, and discover. Children will be introduced at an early age on how to have respect for all living things, how to model environmental responsibility, and a type of stewardship to our community.
